Kew Gardens
I visited Kew with my mum and sister, specifically to see the elevated tree walkway. However we spent a lot of time in  The different conservatorys; the palm house, the temperate house and the Princess of wales conservatory. i found the Plam house fascinating. the building itself is beautiful and so iconic to Kew, it is also the oldest surviving victorian glass and iron structure. (below)
The palm house houses palms in sections according to their origin, Africa, The americas, and asia, australasia and the south pacific; however the section in the middle is principly for the tallest palms, the range of species and bizzare trees and plants i'd never even come across was vast. we also visited the aqauruim section underneath the palm house which was fairly interesting. (Below) A couple of examples of plants that i found really interesting which were kept in the palm house, firstly a banana palm in flower, and below that, a very prickly palm.

We then headed across the gardens towards the elevated structure via the holly walk. Very festive! incredible variety of different hollys though, which i wasn't expecting.
